Greetings Everyone, I am currently listing three copper spiral-wrapped Shiva Lingam pendant at auction on eBay . Please check for the link to my listings below. Since this is not my normal listings, (I don't find many of these calling out to be worked with which are affordable!) I decided to make a special section on them in the blog. Much of the first part of this information is in the auction listing and I give many thanks to Ken Harsh's wonderful insights and information about them. The latter part of this blog entry contains some channeled poetry/messages which I received several years ago when I first had a Shiva Lingam call out to me and want me to take it home. ---------------------------------------- The Shiva Lingam is one of the most revered stones on the entire planet. It is believed that a meteorite hit the Earth in the mountainous province of Maharashtra near the source of the Narmada River, about 300 miles north of Bombay in the west central portion of India. The Lingams are harvested once annually in a special ceremony from the River Narmada during the dry season at low water levels. The stones are naturally egg shaped by the river's action and are polished by hand, usually with Ghee (clarified butter). The Narmada River is considered a very special river, considered by Indian sages to be one of the most powerful healing rivers on the planet. It has imparted this special healing energy into the Shiva Lingams. This type of stone has become most widely known and recognized through the movie, 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', where it shows the powers of both light and dark, depending upon the one calling forth the energies. (It is always recommended to project positive thoughts and intents for the energies are always returned multiplied to the sender.) Some geologists think that the markings were infused into the stones by the ancient meteorite. The stones themselves appear to be a mixture of agate, basalt, and Since Shiva represents creation - destruction - regeneration, the lingam also represents power, consciousness, and the creation of planes of power in the Universe. Some see the lingam as only a sex or phallic symbol, but this is incomplete thinking, best left to young immature souls. The lingam is considered the highest symbol of worship on the physical plane and it can bring believers into the mystical union with God. Those with understanding and knowledge can undertake to use this stone as a divine channel between themselves and God. It helps us unite the lower self (conscious) with the higher self (unconscious) so that we may know our own divinity as we seek to know God. Lingams are a great stone, one of the best on this planet. They are a blessing for us all. Most lingams come in two colors, the main body is considered the male energy and the markings are considered the female energy. More markings are considered a symbol of more levels of creation in the individual stones. You may well feel the lingam pulsing in your own hand as it brings your energies into vibrational alignment with the rest of the planet at this time. As the Earth shifts its vibrational frequencies and energies and souls are thrown into chaos and confusion, balance is more important than ever. The lingam can help provide that balance. (The above section of information on the Shiva Lingam comes from '
