I just got back from an amazing weekend at the Universal Light Expo in Columbus. This is my fourth year at the ULE and each year is better than the last.
I've been cutting back on fairs this last year and it was wonderful to once again be a part of such a vibrant community. This was also the first expo I offered psychic readings as well as Blue Dragon Beauty products. I offered shorter Aura Readings, fifteen minutes long aura drawing with interpretation, and longer Life Readings, forty five to fifty minute long in-depth readings. The readings were very well received and I was lucky enough to attract a few wonderful clients, most of whom had a background in metaphysics, so they asked some really interesting questions.
I have to admit, I get bored with the usual three questions asked at most fairs, Love, Work and Money. This time, most people said they were open to whatever information was directed to come through. This was wonderfully freeing. I get so much information in a reading, especially the first session, that I often have trouble fitting in all the information… and I get terribly bored talking about that tall dark stranger and the nasty boss.
The one reading I gave that was focused on questions was to a gentleman who had a list. This was great, no one has ever come to me with a detailed list of questions before. He was clear and focused and not interested in any sugarcoating so we moved through his list of questions in about half the scheduled time and, bless him, he offered to pay in full even after I offered to prorate. What a great guy, plus his questions were extremely interesting, I hope I get to read for him again. He phrased each question like an old fashioned mathematical word problem, (not an actual question) "I have a piece of property 15 acres by 26 acres 17 miles off the coast of Guam. Are there any natural resources there worth exploring and were?" It was just a fascinating experience.
I also met this woman, Beth Antonelli, who does the most amazing energy work based on frequency. She had come over to the booth to talk to Tammie Crosby. While over she channeled this message to Tammie about copper wire wrapping and I noticed that the energy coming through with the message was hitting her rough, so I took a look to see what was happening. I can always see psychic energy. I usually tune it out as it get distracting and dizzying (and makes driving a thrill ride for everyone), but all I have to do is stop trying not to see it. We talked about the energy flow and what she could do to smooth the ride. Later she did some third Chakra work on me that was amazing. I've never met anyone who can reach the root of an old pattern so quickly and because she deals with the frequencies and energy patterns the work doesn't get bogged down endless recitations of personal history. Just fantastic.
I finally got a bit of the mandala sand! All three years I've been at ULE the Tibetan Monks make a sand mandala. If you've never seen on of these you must seek it out. It is incredible and brief. They create it for the specific moment and then destroy it at the end, giving the sand away. I've always been busy with the booth during the dismantling of the mandala, but this year a very kind attendee (I've seen him at other fairs but this is the first time we got a chance to chat) offered to bring me back a bag of mandala sand… now I just have to find safe place I stashed it during packing. I know it's around here somewhere.
The whole event has become something of a blur, but it was just the win I needed to get me back on track.
Have a great October and I'll see you next month.
