Thanks! I'm still working on the bring stuff like making sure all the old links resolve, but I'm really happy with how it looks and works. I'll also be moving allot of content over from my LiveJournal as they just fired 20 of 28 employees and I've lost faith in their ability to store my past.

One feature I think is very cool is that the top banner changes with the time of day.

Mushroom and Wheat Soup: Currently in process

Deeply brown thinly sliced onions in enough butter with a tablespoon of salt. Add garlic, carrots and mushrooms one at at time after browning. Add herbs and continue browning.
Subject: Christmas Music - by: John Thornton

Tis the season for Christmas music and all that holiday cheer stuff. Even when I'm at my most grumpy there are a few Christmas songs that always get to me.

First, Christmas in the Trenches by John McCutcheon. This fantastic sing may not leave you filled with zesty jolliness, but it will remind you what the holiday is supposed to be about.

My next video is for Hard Candy Christmas by Dolly Parton. I love this song but was unable to find a link for my favorite version sung by RuPaul. Dolly is a good second. Check out the quality 80s hotel she's singin in - Awesome!
